HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- An elderly woman was taken to the hospital after a fire in her Huntsville apartment on Thursday. The fire started around 10:45 p.m. on Clinton Avenue. HEMSI took the woman to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. Firefighters kept the flames contained to a bathroom. No other units were affected.
