HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- Hundreds turned out Sunday to raise money for a cure of type 1 diabetes. The walk was held Sunday afternoon at Dynetics at Research Park. As many as 3 million people are affected by the chronic disease. Participants were hoping to raise more than $157,000 during the walk.
